Dental Crowns and Bridges

Dr. Landy has extensive expertise placing dental implants, including recent advanced training in zygomatic implants. Dental implants are made of an abutment and crown, which are placed onto a titanium or zirconia post that is surgically placed into your jawbone to function like a natural tooth root. After the post fuses with your jawbone, a customized restoration (tooth crown) made from durable, natural-looking polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) or zirconia is attached to the post with an abutment. As long as you receive dental implants from a highly skilled dentist, they can restore 99% of normal function, beautify your smile and improve your oral health and confidence.
